John Edwards' Campaign Bloggers

Many of you may now have heard about the John Edward blog fiasco. I first heard of it yesterday from Michelle Malkin. I followed the link to Amanda Marcotte's blog Pandagon, which I believe is a play on the word "paragon" which means "an example of excellence." If you read this woman's work, you will quickly realize that the only thing this woman excels at is being a foul mouthed and hateful person. I am not exaggerating at all, I assure you. Read her post here along with the posted comments, some of which I will highlight, but not rewrite on this blog. Unlike these people, I am a polite civilized person. Take a look at these, which I have ranked in descending order (as they appear): Karpad (Sep 4th, 2005 at 2:17 am), Amanda Marcotte (Sep 4th, 2005 at 2:53 am), Sarah in Chicago (Sep 4th, 2005 at 11:57 am) I am also pointing out this exchange: David Thompson (Sep 4th, 2005 at 12:52 pm), Amanda Marcotte (Sep 4th, 2005 at 12:55 pm), David Thompson (Sep 4th, 2005 at 2:44 pm), Amanda Marcotte (Sep 4th, 2005 at 3:17 pm), David Thompson (Sep 4th, 2005 at 3:21 pm), and Amanda Marcotte (Sep 4th, 2005 at 3:23 pm).

I point out the above comments for several reasons. One, so you can get a window into the depraved mind of the one of the bloggers who is working for John Edwards’s campaign. I showed this selection to my sister, who was equally if not even more revolted than I was. Second of all, Marcotte crushes dissent, as she "bans another a******" who was challenging her conclusions. This shows a distinct difference between the right and the left blogosphere. Sure, I can be sarcastic, and crack a joke at someone else’s expense, but I would never consider writing or saying anything I read on that blog. Just to illustrate the stark contrast between the right and left blogosphere, I will
link this from Michelle Malkin. The difference is night and day.

The liberal MSM has begun its spin for the Edwards Campaign and Edwards has started his own CYA. I will use this
article from the The Baltimore Sun to illustrate my point. Edwards says that, "he was offended by the intolerant language." and that "They have both assured me that it was never their intention to malign anyone's faith, and I take them at their word." This is such crap, I'm sorry! The article goes onto say, "...that earlier postings by the two, some tinged with profanity, were widely described as anti-Catholic...Marcotte described Catholicism as an ancient mythology... ridiculed the belief...that Jesus was divinely conceived." What is the newspapers definition of profanity?! Marcotte dropped about a dozen F-bombs in her blog and comments! If I did that Townhall would probably terminate my account and rightly so! And I thought that Liberals were progressives, for religious freedom, pandering, and understanding? Oh wait, I'm sorry, I'm living in an alternate reality!
